The Réseau Cocagne currently consists of 100 gardens, which employ 4,000 "reintegrating" gardeners and 700 supervisors. Its objective is to help people who have major social and economic difficulties to reintegrate.
By funding beekeeping training and investing in equipment, Melvita provides support for gardens that wish to use beekeeping as a community-building tool that will also help the gardeners to reintegrate into society.
